The reference number provided when initiating the payment request.

The payment method type of the payment which was processed.
For example: visa, mc, amex.

Creation Date

The timestamp indicating when the capture was received by Adyen.
Format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.
For example: 2012-07-26 19:58:55.

The time zone the creation date in the previous column refers to.
ISO code for the configured time zone for your company account.
To check it and edit it, go to:

Modification Reference *

  • For records of Type Settled, Refunded, Chargebacks, etc. - the 'modification' psp reference (16 character reference that is associated with the modification request).

    In some cases, the modification reference returned for records of Type Chargeback may be the same as the reference returned when the payment was captured. This is expected behavior.

  • For records of Type MerchantPayout - a text description containing Account code, batch # and the unique payout reference (TX...XT), which can be found on the bank statement as well. Maximum length: 256 characters.

The exchange rate used for converting the gross amount into the net amount.
This will be 1 if you process and settle in the same currency.

For R-level payments, the listed Exchange rate is Adyen's reference exchange rate, not the actual rate applied by the external acquirer.

Net Currency

The three character ISO code for the currency which was used for processing the payment (settlement currency).

Net Debit (NC)

The net amount debited from the Payable. For example, in case of a Refunded booking, this is the amount sent as part of the refund request plus any additional costs withheld.

Net Credit (NC)

The net credit amount; this is the amount submitted in the transaction request minus Acquirer fees.
For example: 100.00.

Commission (NC)

The commission fee that was withheld by the acquirer. This should be the difference between the gross and net amounts.
If the Acquirer provides the transaction information at interchange level Adyen, splits the commission into:

  • Markup
  • Scheme Fees
  • Interchange.

In this case, column 17 is empty and columns 18, 19, and 20 are populated.

If the Acquirer does not provide the transaction information at interchange level, Adyen populates the total commission in column 17.
In this case, columns 18, 19, and 20 are empty.

Markup (NC)

The fee charged by the Acquiring bank.
This field will be empty if Acquirer does not provide the transaction information at the interchange level.

Scheme Fees (NC)

The fee which is charged by Visa / MC.
This field will be empty if Acquirer does not provide the transaction information at the interchange level.

The fee charged by the Issuing bank.
