During this process, you need to submit an application with Know Your Customer (KYC) information. At the end of this process, you'll be able to accept live payments.<\/p>\n<h2>How it works<\/h2>\n<p>These are the steps for onboarding with Adyen::<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Adyen sends you an email invitation.<\/li>\n<li>Use the link in the email invitation to <a href=\"#application-form\">create a password for the application form<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Log in to the Adyen application form to <a href=\"#submit-application\">submit your application with KYC information<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Adyen reviews the KYC information. This can take up to five business days.<\/li>\n<li>If the KYC information is correct, you receive an email to <a href=\"#essentials\">create a password for Adyen Essentials<\/a>.<br \/>\nIf some information is incorrect, you receive an <a href=\"#correct-information\">email asking you to provide the correct information<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Adyen informs your franchisor if all the KYC checks have passed.<\/li>\n<li>After you have received a confirmation from your franchisor, you can start processing live payments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The following image gives an overview of the onboarding process. The steps where you need to take action are marked with white boxes.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" src=\"\/user\/pages\/docs\/28.franchisees\/02.onboarding\/essentials-onboarding.svg?decoding=auto&amp;fetchpriority=auto\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"application-form\">Step 1: Create a password for the application form<\/h2>\n<p>The Adyen email invitation is sent from the following address: <code>do-not-reply@adyen.com<\/code>.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" src=\"\/user\/pages\/docs\/28.franchisees\/02.onboarding\/adyen-invitation.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you select <strong>Set your password<\/strong>, you are redirected to a page to fill in the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Account<\/strong>: Enter the <strong>Account<\/strong> name from the email invitation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Username<\/strong>: Enter the <strong>Username<\/strong> from the email invitation.\n<div class=\"notices yellow\">\n<p>Make sure that you enter the names exactly as they are in the email. For example, if the <strong>Username<\/strong> is <span translate=\"no\"><strong>CA-JohnJohnson<\/strong><\/span>, entering <span translate=\"no\"><strong>ca-JohnJohnson<\/strong><\/span> would result in an error.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<li><strong>Password<\/strong>: Enter a password for the application form. You need this password to access and submit your application form for the KYC process. After you have successfully completed your application, you need to set up a new password for Essentials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Multiple legal entities<\/h3>\n<p>If you are onboarding multiple legal entities, you receive several copies of the invitation email, but you only need to set the password <strong>once<\/strong>. You can use this password to access all your application forms.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"submit-application\">Step 2: Submit application<\/h2>\n<p>After you have entered your password in the previous step, you are taken to the Adyen application form to upload documents and complete your application. To know which documents you need to submit, refer to <a href=\"\/franchisees\/application-form\">Application form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You do not have to complete the application form in one session. Your progress is saved, and you can complete the application form at a later point. To access the application form, use the <a href=\"#application-form\">password that you created in the previous step<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"correct-information\">Provide correct information<\/h3>\n<p>If some information in the application form is incorrect, you'll receive an email asking you to submit the correct information.
