We'll get in touch with you to learn about: * Your business model. * The regions or countries in which your users are going to process payments. We'll help you determine whether our current platform capabilities are a good fit for you. ## Step 2: Design your implementation Your Adyen contact will work with you to design your implementation. The design includes determining: * The setup of your business based on how your brand interacts with your users, their customers, and the card schemes, including whether you want your users to have access to Essentials. * How to onboard and collect data from your users, ensuring that your platform is able to collect the required information and accept document uploads. * How to pay out. * How to generate financial reports and reconcile balances. ## Step 3: Get your test accounts After you have designed your implementation, your Adyen contact will provide you with your Adyen test credentials. Your test credentials include: * API credentials for the following: * [Legal Entity Management API](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/legalentity/latest/overview): You'll use this API to create and manage legal entities that contain the information required for verification checks. * [Management API](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Management/latest/overview): You'll use this API to configure and manage your Adyen company and merchant accounts, stores, and payment terminals. * [Balance Control API](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/BalanceControl/latest/overview): You'll use this API to transfer funds between merchant accounts. * [Checkout API](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/overview): You'll use this API to process online payments for your users. * [Terminal API](https://docs.adyen.com/point-of-sale/design-your-integration/terminal-api): You'll use this API to process in-person payments for your users. * Username and password to the following dashboards: * The [Customer Area](https://ca-test.adyen.com/), a dashboard where you can view insights into all payment activities and configurations in your platform. * The [Essentials](https://essentials-live.adyen.com/essentials), a dashboard where you or your users can view payments performance and perform day-to-day business activities. ## Step 4: Build your integration When you have your test accounts, start building your Adyen for Platforms Managed model: * [Configure webhooks](https://docs.adyen.com/development-resources/webhooks) * [Verify and onboard your users](https://docs.adyen.com/managed-model/verification-requirements) * [Configure merchant accounts](https://docs.adyen.com/managed-model/activate-merchant-account) * [Integrate and set up payment processing](https://docs.adyen.com/managed-model/integrate-payments) * [Configure risk management](https://docs.adyen.com/managed-model/manage-risks) * [Set up payouts](https://docs.adyen.com/managed-model/payouts) * [Implement reconciliation processes through reports](https://docs.adyen.com/managed-model/reports) ## Step 5: Apply for your live account After you have built and tested your integration in the test environment, you are ready to go live. Reach out to your Adyen contact to take your account live. ## Step 6: Configure your live account The setup and configuration from your test account is not ported over to your live Adyen for Platforms account. You need to replicate your test account setup in the live environment.
