The Adyen payments platform supports most global and local card payment methods with a single technical integration.

You can use any of our PCI-compliant [client-side solutions](/online-payments) to securely collect and encrypt sensitive card information, or submit raw card data if you are [fully PCI compliant](/get-started-with-adyen/adyen-glossary/#pci-compliance).

Depending on your integration, Adyen may require that you submit PCI DSS documents before you can accept card payments in the live environment. For more information, refer to [PCI DSS compliance guide](/development-resources/pci-dss-compliance-guide#online-payments).

By default, all card payments are [captured](/online-payments/capture) immediately after authorisation. Alternatively, you can set up a [capture delay](/online-payments/capture#delayed-automatic-capture), or use [manual capture](/online-payments/capture#manual-capture).

To accept cards with 3D Secure authentication, follow instructions on the [3D secure integration guides](/online-payments/3d-secure/native-3ds2).

For the following regions, your integration must be [compliant with co-badged card regulations](/online-payments/co-badged-cards-compliance):

* [European Economic Area (EEA)](https://www.efta.int/eea)
* Australia
