[View source](/payment-methods/promptpay/ios-drop-in.md) Our [iOS Drop-in](/online-payments/build-your-integration/sessions-flow?platform=iOS\&integration=Drop-in) renders PromptPay in your payment form, and generates a QR code that the shopper uses to pay with their choice of app from PromptPay participating banks. ## Requirements Select the [server-side flow](/online-payments/build-your-integration) that your integration uses: ### Tab: Sessions flow | Requirement | Description | | -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Integration type** | Make sure that you have built a Sessions flow [integration](/online-payments/build-your-integration/sessions-flow?platform=%7B%7BgetParameter%28%27platform%27%29%7D%7D\&integration=%7B%7BgetParameter%28%27integration%27%29%7D%7D). | | **Setup steps** | Before you begin, contact our [Support Team](https://ca-test.adyen.com/ca/ca/contactUs/support.shtml?form=other) to add in your Customer Area. | ### Tab: Advanced flow | Requirement | Description | | -------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Integration type** | Make sure that you have built an Advanced flow [integration](/online-payments/build-your-integration/advanced-flow?platform=%7B%7BgetParameter%28%27platform%27%29%7D%7D\&integration=%7B%7BgetParameter%28%27integration%27%29%7D%7D). | | **Setup steps** | Before you begin, contact our [Support Team](https://ca-test.adyen.com/ca/ca/contactUs/support.shtml?form=other) to add in your Customer Area. | ## Show PromptPay in your payment form Drop-in uses the `countryCode` and the `amount.currency` from your [/paymentMethods](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/post/paymentMethods) request to show the available payment methods to your shopper. To show PromptPay in your payment form, you need to specify in your [/paymentMethods](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/post/paymentMethods) request: * [countryCode](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/post/paymentMethods): **TH** * [amount.currency](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/post/paymentMethods#request-amount): **THB** * [amount.value](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/post/paymentMethods#request-amount): The value of the payment. After the shopper selects a payment method and provides payment details, Drop-in invokes the `didSubmit` method which contains `data.paymentMethod`. Pass `data.paymentMethod` to your server and make a payment request. ## Make a payment When the shopper proceeds to pay, Drop-in invokes the `didSubmit` method which contains `data.paymentMethod`. 1. Pass `data.paymentMethod` to your server. 2. From your server, make a [/payments](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/latest/post/payments) request, specifying: * `paymentMethod`: The `data.paymentMethod` from the `didSubmit` event from your client app. #### curl ```bash curl https://checkout-test.adyen.com/v72/payments \ -H 'x-api-key: ADYEN_API_KEY' \ -H 'content-type: application/json' \ -d '{ "merchantAccount": "YOUR_MERCHANT_ACCOUNT", "amount": { "currency": "THB", "value": 10000 }, "paymentMethod": { "type": "promptpay" }, "reference": "YOUR_ORDER_NUMBER" }' ``` #### Java ```java // Adyen Java API Library v39.3.0 import com.adyen.Client; import com.adyen.enums.Environment; import com.adyen.model.checkout.*; import java.time.OffsetDateTime; import java.util.*; import com.adyen.model.RequestOptions; import com.adyen.service.checkout.*; // For the LIVE environment, also include your liveEndpointUrlPrefix. You will also receive the outcome of the payment asynchronously in a [webhook](/development-resources/webhooks). The `resultCode` values you can receive for PromptPay are: | eventCode | success field | Description | Action to take | | ----------------- | ------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **AUTHORISATION** | **false** | The transaction failed. | Cancel the order and inform the shopper that the payment failed. | | **AUTHORISATION** | **true** | The shopper successfully completed the payment. | Inform the shopper that the payment has been successful and proceed with the order. | ## Test and go live Test PromptPay payments with real payment details and small amounts. Check the status of your test PromptPay payments in your **Customer Area** > **Transactions** > **Payments**. To accept live PromptPay payments, you must contact our [Support Team](https://ca-test.adyen.com/ca/ca/contactUs/support.shtml?form=other) to add PromptPay in your live Customer Area. ## See also * [iOS Drop-in integration guide](/online-payments/build-your-integration/sessions-flow?platform=iOS\&integration=Drop-in) * [Webhooks](/development-resources/webhooks) * [API Explorer](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/#/CheckoutService/latest/overview)
