Card acquisition<\/h3>\n

You can now\u00a0retrieve a shopper's details before creating a payment request. This can be used, for example, to perform an eligibility check for tax-free shopping.<\/p>\n

Afterpay support<\/h3>\n

We now support\u00a0Afterpay<\/a>\u00a0payments in Australia. Afterpay is a digital eWallet payment method, where the shopper makes a payment by scanning a QR code presented on the POS terminal.<\/p>\n

Improved functionality<\/h2>\n

Receipt logo support<\/h3>\n

You can now use the\u00a0Customer Area<\/a>\u00a0to configure your receipt logo for V400c and V400m terminals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Receipt printing improvements<\/h3>\n

Empty fields will no longer be printed on the receipt.<\/p>\n

Standalone payment flow<\/h3>\n

We now show the result of a standalone payment when it starts printing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Network priority<\/h3>\n

You can now configure the priority for different network connection types (Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Cellular) in the Customer Area<\/a>. When the priority connection type is not working, the terminal will try to connect using the other connection types.<\/p>\n

Static IP per SSID support<\/h3>\n

You can now configure terminals to connect to a static IP address per SSID.<\/p>\n

To do this:<\/p>\n

  1. On the terminal, navigate to\u00a0Network<\/strong> > Wi-Fi<\/strong> > [SSID Name]<\/strong>\u00a0> IP settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Clear the Use DHCP<\/strong>\u00a0checkbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Configurable payment time-outs<\/h3>\n

    The default time-out for validating or authorising a payment has been reduced to 36 seconds (from 180 seconds). You can configure payment time-outs in the\u00a0Customer Area<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Fixed issues<\/h2>\n

    In this release we fixed the following issues:<\/p>\n

      An incorrect terminal MAC address was displayed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      An incorrect\u00a0Effective date<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0would print on EMV transaction receipts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      The network settings of a terminal would be lost when updating the terminal from a version earlier than V1.26.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Transactions couldn't be cancelled during an authorization request.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      When a terminal was busy it would display\u00a0notAllowed<\/strong><\/span>. It now displays\u00a0Busy<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      When a shopper was refused<\/strong><\/span> after entering an incorrect PIN, the\u00a0transaction was incorrectly reported as\u00a0cancelled<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
