Dual language support<\/h3>\n

The terminal can now support two display languages. When the shopper presents their card, they can switch between languages using a button on the terminal display. This is a useful feature for example in bilingual countries\/regions. To configure dual language support for your terminal:<\/p>\n

  1. In your Customer Area<\/a> navigate to In-person payments<\/strong> > Payment devices<\/strong>, select the Terminals<\/strong> tab, and then select your terminal.<\/li>\n
  2. Under Settings<\/strong>, use the Language<\/strong> and Secondary Language<\/strong> fields to set the two display languages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Improved functionality<\/h2>\n

    USB gadget mode<\/h3>\n

    You can now use the Customer Area to enable your terminal to use Ethernet over a USB connection:<\/p>\n

    1. In your Customer Area<\/a> navigate to In-person payments<\/strong> > Payment devices<\/strong>, select the Terminals<\/strong> tab, and then select your terminal.<\/li>\n
    2. Select the Network<\/strong> tab and under USB<\/strong>, at USB mode<\/strong>, select the Ethernet-over-USB mode you want to use, such as Ethernet RNDIS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Synchronization when downloading configuration<\/h3>\n

      When you use the Admin<\/strong> menu to download the latest configuration, we now also apply any open terminal actions that would otherwise wait until the next synchronization with the Adyen platform. <\/p>\n

      Totals receipt<\/h3>\n

      We improved the layout of the Totals<\/strong> receipt.<\/p>\n
