{"title":"Charger problems","category":"default","creationDate":1554379260,"content":"<p>The charger is broken or the power connector on the terminal is broken.<\/p>\n<h2>First solution: Inspect the charger<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Check whether the charger works with other terminals of the same model.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that there is no dust or debris in the connectors on the charger and the terminal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Second solution: Restart the terminal<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>To restart the terminal, either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Turn off the terminal, then turn it on again.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>On tethered terminals (without battery), <a href=\"\/point-of-sale\/pos-troubleshooting\/terminal-turns-on\/admin-pin\">open the Admin menu<\/a> and select <strong>Reboot<\/strong>, or disconnect and reconnect the power cord.<\/p>\n<!-- list separator -->\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Verify whether the charger is now charging the battery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If this does not solve the problem, replace the terminal or the charger.<\/p>\n<h2>Replace the charger or return the terminal<\/h2>\n<p>Follow the <a href=\"\/point-of-sale\/managing-terminals\/order-terminals#return-or-replace-terminals\">instructions to return the terminal<\/a> to Adyen.
