# Release notes - Android 1.16.3

## New functionality

### Support for autoplay for audio on HTML5 pages on WebView

We now support autoplaying of Audio in HTML5 webpages in the Webview.

### Support for partial authorizations added

By setting the `AllowPartialAuthorisation` tender option the POS can indicate that it supports partial authorizations.

Partial authorizations apply when a shopper tries to purchase something for USD 100, but only has a USD 30 balance. The bank may authorize USD 30 if allow partials is enabled, and the POS needs to make sure to request the remaining USD 70 through cash or another card.

## Improved functionality

### Serial protocol improved

There were bugs in the serial protocol which caused communication issues with several versions of Adyen's payment terminals. This has been fixed.

### Currency optional when updating amount

Currency is now optional when updating the amount using the additional data callback. When modifying the amount of a transaction mid-tender, it is not longer required to define the currency if the currency does not change.

## Fixed Issues

* Refund version check bug fixed. The library would not allow refunds to be initiated using specific versions of Adyen's payment terminals. 
* CardAlias will now be returned in Additional data.
