# Release notes - iOS 1.15.0

We're pleased to announce a new iOS library that makes integration with our Payment Terminals quicker and easier. 

## Library updates

**NEW:** Gift card functionality. Ability to make a balance inquiry, load and redeem balance using new methods in the \`ADYDevice\` class:

* `createGiftCardBalanceRequestWithError:`
* `createGiftCardLoadRequestWithError:`
* `createGiftCardTransactionRequestWithReference:card:error:`

**NEW:** Refusal reason `ADYTransactionFailureCardSwappedMidTransaction`.

**NEW:** Set a store identifier to be used for device boarding and initiated transactions.

**NEW:** Support for old Miura devices with v9.

**NEW: **Location services no longer need to be enabled. 

**IMPROVED:** Passing of additional data.

**IMPROVED:** Overall security of network connectivity.

**IMPROVED:** Location tracking. Reduced usage of location services.

**IMPROVED:** Connection stability with payment devices connected via Lightning port.

**IMPROVED:** Handling of network connection loss.

**IMPROVED:** Status reporting for connected payment devices.

## Known issues

* In rare cases, `ADYDeviceRegistry` might report duplicate devices.

**Workaround:** When communicating with a payment device, always pick the one with a status `ADYDeviceStatusInitialized` or `ADYDeviceStatusNotBoarded`.

* Occasionally, boarding might throw an error "Payment device configured for other environment (107)".

**Workaround:** make sure to call `getDeviceDataWithCompletion:` before performing actual boarding with `boardDeviceWithDelegate:`.

* An E355 terminal connected over Wi-Fi may lose connectivity and be unable to re-establish connection. 

**Workaround:** Restart the app.
