We're pleased to announce a new family of libraries and support features to integrate with our payment terminals.\u00a0The libraries, COM for Windows, Java Native Interface and C, are built on the same core application. This allows merchants operating on Windows, Linux, or OS-X based POS systems to integrate with Adyen's payment terminals. The updated libraries also work with all Adyen's mobile and countertop PIN entry devices.\u00a0<\/p>\n

New functionality<\/h2>\n

3BA\/4BA signature support. This feature is enabled on your account by Support Team<\/a>. Your terminal must be on a compatible firmware version that supports 3BA\/4BA signatures.<\/p>\n

Improved Functionality<\/h2>\n

Threading model<\/h3>\n

The threading model is now uniform across all platforms, which reduces the time required to exit the library.<\/p>\n

Piping mechanism<\/h3>\n

A new piping mechanism improves stability on Windows Operating systems.<\/p>\n

Fixed issues<\/h2>\n

  • In rare circumstances, the exit library call caused the Java Virtual Machine to crash.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • If the TxStoreReport does not contain a certain field (e.g. pspReference), the getter no longer throws an exception, but an empty string instead.<\/li>\n
