Configure your terminal for Alipay or WeChat Pay

Contact the Support Team to configure your terminal Alipay or WeChat Pay payments.

Standalone

Steps

  1. Initiate a normal card transaction on the terminal.
  2. Enter the amount for the transaction.
  3. Press the Confirm button.
  4. Tap Wallets.
  5. Ask the customer if they want to use Alipay or WeChat Pay.
  6. Tap their preferred wallet.
    A QR code appears
  7. Allow the shopper to scan the QR code with their mobile device.

    The shopper must have an activated Alipay or WeChat Pay wallet app on their mobile device, and an active internet connection.

  8. The shopper authorises the transaction.
  9. The terminal displays the final status of the transaction, either Approved, for successful transactions, or Refused.

For standalone, Alipay and WeChat Pay refunds can only be processed through your Customer Area. Alternatively, you can refund the payment using a different payment method.

Before you begin

First, see Alipay and WeChat Pay to set up your integration for Alipay or WeChat Pay.

Steps

  1. Initiate a normal card transaction from the POS.
  2. Ask the customer if they want to use Alipay or WeChat Pay.
  3. Tap Wallets.
  4. Tap their preferred wallet.
  5. Hand the terminal to the customer.
  6. The shopper scans the QR code with their mobile device and authorizes the payment.

    The shopper must have an activated Alipay or WeChat Pay wallet app on their mobile device, and an active internet connection.

  7. The terminal displays the final status of the transaction, either Approved, for successful transactions, or Refused.

For integrated, Alipay and WeChat Pay refunds can be processed through your Customer Area, or using a POITransactionID. For more information on making a refund with a POITransactionID, see Refund a completed payment.
