If you have multiple company accounts and users that need access to more than one company account, you can add them to an organization. When you add a user to an organization, they keep their current <a href=\"#user-roles\">user roles for each company account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A user, with one login, can access multiple company accounts in the same organization in Customer Area.<\/p>\n<p>You can only add company accounts that are legally related to each other to an organization.<\/p>\n<p>To manage organizations in Customer Area, you must have the following role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Merchant admin<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Add a company account to an organization<\/h2>\n<p>You must add each company account to an organization individually. To add a company to an organization, do the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> company account that you want to add to an organization, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Account settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>User management<\/strong>, in the <strong>Unified account login<\/strong> box, select <strong>Add your company<\/strong> and follow the user interface (UI) instructions to complete the process.<\/li>\n<li>After accepting the terms, you get a message to confirm if the company account was added to the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Copy SSO configuration from the organization<\/h2>\n<p>The way an organization's SSO is configured is one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the first company account added to the organization has SSO, the organization inherits that SSO configuration.<\/li>\n<li>If the first company account added to the organization does not have SSO, the organization inherits the SSO configuration from any of the subsequent companies that has SSO configured.<\/li>\n<li>If none of the company accounts added to the organization have SSO configured, the organization does not get SSO configuration until one of its company accounts sets it up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have SSO configured for the organization, you can copy that SSO configuration to the company account:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> company account that you want to add to an organization, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Account settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>User management<\/strong>, in the <strong>Unified account login<\/strong> box, select <strong>Copy SSO configuration<\/strong> and follow the UI instructions to complete the process.<\/li>\n<li>After accepting the terms, you get a message to confirm if SSO was configured.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Manage user migration to SSO<\/h2>\n<p>If you have set up SSO, you can manage user migration to SSO:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> company account that you want to add to an organization, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Account settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>User management<\/strong>, in the <strong>Unified account login<\/strong> box, select <strong>Manage user migration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>Users<\/strong> page, follow instructions to <a href=\"\/pt\/account\/single-sign-on\/migrate-users-to-sso\">migrate users to SSO<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Alternatively, in your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> company account, go to <strong>Users<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Settings<\/strong> to <a href=\"\/pt\/account\/single-sign-on\/migrate-users-to-sso\">migrate users to SSO<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Give a user access to a company account in an organization<\/h2>\n<p>By default, a user does not have access to all company accounts in an organization. If a user does not already have access to a company account in the organization, you can either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#email-login\">Create a user for the company with email login<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#sso-login\">Create a user for the company with SSO login<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a user that has access to multiple company accounts in one organization, the following changes are reflected for the user under all company accounts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Editing email address<\/li>\n<li>Editing first or last name<\/li>\n<li>Removing a <a href=\"\/pt\/account\/multifactor-authentication\/\">Multifactor authentication<\/a> device<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/pt\/account\/users\/#password-reset-email\">Resetting password<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"email-login\">Create a user for the company with email login<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>In your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> company account that you want to give the user access to, go to <strong>Account<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Create new user<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Email and password<\/strong> login method for the user.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the user's email address, first name, and last name, and follow the UI instruction to complete the process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"sso-login\">Create a user for the company with SSO login<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>In your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> company account that you want to give the user access to, go to <strong>Account<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Create new user<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>SSO<\/strong> login method for the user.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the user's email address, first name, and last name, and follow the UI instruction to complete the process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"user-roles\">User roles for each company account<\/h2>\n<p>When a user joins an organization where they already have access to multiple company accounts, their <a href=\"\/pt\/account\/user-roles\/\">user roles<\/a> for each company account stay the same.<\/p>\n<p>The following example describes a scenario when a user has access to two company accounts.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>For Company A, User123 has the user role <strong>Merchant admin<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFor Company B, User123 has the user role <strong>Merchant report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Company A and Company B are added to an organization.
