There are 2 types of liable accounts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your balance platform's <a href=\"#main-liable-balance-account\">main liable balance account<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"#reserved-incorrect-splits-account\">reserved incorrect splits account<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Main liable balance account<\/h2>\n<p>This is the main balance account tied to your balance platform, and holds most of your balance platform's funds. All your commissions from transactions made on your balance platform are booked to this account. You can also use this account to pay your users' transaction fees or transfer funds to your users for other reasons, such as to correct balances.<\/p>\n<h2>Reserved incorrect splits account<\/h2>\n<p>When <a href=\"\/pt\/platforms\/process-payments\/#split-transactions\">splitting a payment<\/a>, you may make mistakes in your API request and accidentally book funds to balance accounts that don't exist or that are unable to receive funds. A balance account is not able to receive funds when:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The account has <code>status<\/code> <strong>closed<\/strong> or <strong>suspended<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The account holder has <code>status<\/code> <strong>closed<\/strong> or <strong>suspended<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The account holder does not have the required <a href=\"\/pt\/platforms\/verification-overview\/capabilities\/\">capabilities<\/a> to receive funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In such cases, we book these funds to your reserved incorrect splits account.
