It allows shoppers to pay from their bank through an account-to-account payment, which makes the payment experience user-friendly, secure, and cost-effective.<\/p>\n<p>Adyen's Pay by Bank (Europe) solution is currently available in Germany, France and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>When a shopper selects to pay with Pay by Bank (Europe):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>The shopper is redirected to our open banking partner Tink in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Immediately<\/strong>: the shopper is redirected to Tink immediately, and selects their bank from a list shown by Tink.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Issuer selection first<\/strong>: the shopper selects their bank from a list shown in your payment form, and is then redirected to Tink.<br \/>\nThis option is supported in the UK only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Tink redirects the shopper to the bank's website or mobile app, to complete the payment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>After the payment is completed, the shopper                    <\/tr>\n    <\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n<h2>Chargebacks<\/h2>\n<p>In rare scenarios, it is possible that you do not receive the funds even after receiving a successful AUTHORISATION webhook. The successful AUTHORISATION webhook means that the shopper's account passed the verifications by the issuer and our Pay by Bank (Europe) partners, and that the bank transfer was initiated successfully. However, the payment can still fail for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The shopper cancelled the transaction. Some banks allow shoppers to cancel bank transfers until midnight of the day of the transaction.<\/li>\n<li>Some banks process transactions with a delay and do not block the funds for an authorized Pay by Bank payment. For example, if the shopper completes a payment on a Saturday, the bank might only process it on Monday. If the shopper has withdrawn funds in the meantime, the payment can fail due to insufficient funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In these cases, Adyen is not informed that the transaction failed. We also do not know whether the bank might still process it later.<\/p>\n<p>On our side, the status of the payment is <span translate=\"no\"><strong>SentForSettle<\/strong><\/span> until we receive the funds.
