{"title":"Cegid Retail Y2 CPOS troubleshooting","category":"default","creationDate":1683116460,"content":"<p>If you are experiencing a problem with your Cegid Retail Y2 CPOS integration, there are several ways how you can troubleshoot the issue.<\/p>\n<h2>Check your plugin setup<\/h2>\n<p>Make sure that you <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/cegid-retail-y2\/set-up-the-plugin\">have followed the steps to set up the plugin<\/a> correctly. If your issue is related to Mobile POS or Live Store integration, make sure you have set these up correctly as well.  <\/p>\n<h2>Check for common errors<\/h2>\n<p>Check if the issue you are facing is one of the common errors listed below and follow the steps to resolve it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#no-psp-reference-registered\">No PSP reference registered<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#merchant-reference-format\">Issues with merchant reference<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#referenced-refunds\">Referenced refunds errors<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#logging\">Issues with DRV\/DCPP logging<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#global-blue\">Issues with Global Blue<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#moto-unavailable\">MOTO orders unavailable<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#open-failed-error\">Open failed error<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"no-psp-reference-registered\">No PSP reference registered<\/h3>\n<p>For each payment, the CPOS plugin registers the <a href=\"\/pt\/get-started-with-adyen\/adyen-glossary\/#psp-reference\">PSP reference<\/a> of the payment in Cegid Retail Y2. If no PSP reference is registered after a transaction, check your payment method settings:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Management<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Payment methods<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the payment method you created for accepting payments with Adyen.<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>Additions<\/strong> tab, verify that the <strong>Authorisation number<\/strong> checkbox is selected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"merchant-reference-format\">Issues with merchant reference<\/h3>\n<p>If no transaction ID (<code>GPE_TRANSACTIONID<\/code>) is sent following a payment, check your cash register settings:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Register settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Peripherals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Electronic Payment Terminal<\/strong>, verify that the <strong>Allocation of transaction number<\/strong> checkbox is selected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If the <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/cegid-retail-y2\/set-up-the-plugin#configure-merchant-reference\">merchant reference you configured<\/a> is not formatted as expected, this can lead to reconciliation issues. Verify that the <strong>Number length<\/strong> you have set is higher than the amount of characters in the <strong>Transaction number prefix<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"referenced-refunds\">Referenced refund errors<\/h3>\n<p>If the CPOS plugin defaults to unreferenced refunds when you try to make a referenced refund, check the following settings:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Registers<\/strong> and select your register.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong> and select <strong>EPT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Verify that the <strong>Payment configuration<\/strong> field is set to <strong>D:CP,RR<\/strong>. This enables you to process referenced refunds. If this value is set to <strong>D:CP,NR<\/strong>, the plugin will default to unreferenced refunds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"logging\">Issues with DRV\/DCPP logging<\/h3>\n<p>After you update your Cegid Retail Y2 version, the location of your Cegid Retail Y2 folder may change and you will be required to reinstall the CPOS plugin in a new location.<\/p>\n<p>If you have recently changed your installation path, verify that you have updated <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/cegid-retail-y2\/set-up-the-plugin#configure-cegid\">the DCPP and DRV logging paths that you set when setting up the plugin<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Registers<\/strong> and select your register.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong> and select <strong>EPT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Verify that the <strong>Logfile DCPP Layer<\/strong> and <strong>Logfile DRV Layer<\/strong> fields are set to the correct path.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"global-blue\">Issues with Global Blue<\/h3>\n<p>If you have a Global Blue integration for <a href=\"\/pt\/point-of-sale\/shopper-recognition\/tax-free-shopping\/\">tax-free shopping<\/a>, and Global Blue receives the <code>tenderReference<\/code> instead of the <code>PSPReference<\/code>, the cause can be that you are using a Cegid Retail Y2 version earlier than <strong>18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Cegid Retail Y2 versions earlier than 18 use a different transaction mapping. To take this mapping into account, enable the <strong>Legacy mode<\/strong> in the CPOS plugin:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Registers<\/strong> and select your register.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong> and select <strong>EPT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Legacy Mode<\/strong> checkbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"moto-unavailable\">MOTO orders unavailable<\/h3>\n<p>If you see the <em>The function \"Distant Selling\" is not available in the CPOS plugin.<\/em> message when you attempt to start a <a href=\"\/pt\/point-of-sale\/mail-and-telephone-order-moto\/\">MOTO transaction<\/a>, check your payment method settings:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Management<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Payment methods<\/strong> and select your register.<\/li>\n<li>Select the payment method you created for accepting payments with Adyen.<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>Additions<\/strong> tab, verify that the <strong>Distant selling<\/strong> checkbox is <strong>not<\/strong> selected. The MOTO flow is handled by the CPOS plugin, enabling it in your Cegid Retail Y2 settings is not required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"open-failed-error\">Open failed error<\/h3>\n<p>CPOS <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/release-notes?title%5B0%5D=Cegid%20Retail%20Y2&amp;version%5B0%5D=2.1.14\">v2.1.14<\/a> uses <a href=\"\/pt\/development-resources\/integration-security-guide\/#use-the-correct-tls-configuration\">Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.3<\/a>. If your Windows 10 environment is not up to date, this can cause an issue where you receive the <strong>Open Failed<\/strong> error message when you start a transaction from Cegid Retail Y2.<\/p>\n<p>To resolve this issue, do either of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update to a later version of the plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Deploy Windows version 22H2 or later to the workstation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Troubleshoot your terminal(s)<\/h2>\n<p>If you have <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/cegid-retail-y2\/set-up-the-plugin?tab=local_1\">set up the plugin with local communications<\/a>, and your Adyen terminal is unresponsive to incoming requests from your Cegid Retail Y2 cash register system, check if your URL setup is correct.<\/p>\n<p>To check your URL configuration:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the Cegid Retail Y2 back office, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Registers<\/strong> and select your register.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong> and select <strong>EPT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings for Peripheral<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Verify that the <strong>URL<\/strong> is set to <code>https:\/\/YOUR_DEVICE_IP:8443\/nexo<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you are having issues with your Adyen terminal(s), follow our <a href=\"\/pt\/point-of-sale\/pos-troubleshooting\/\">Troubleshooting steps<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Check our release notes<\/h2>\n<p>Check if your current error is a known issue in the bundle, and resolved in a later version.
