{"title":"Set up Adyen Customer Area","category":"default","creationDate":1676290500,"content":"<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>Make sure that you have followed the steps on <a href=\"\/pt\/get-started-with-adyen\">Get started with Adyen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 1: Set up your API credentials<\/h2>\n<div class=\"additional-info-block output-inline\">\n<div class=\"additional-info-block__body\"><p><strong>Account structure<\/strong><\/p><p>With Adyen, you have a single <em>company account<\/em>, together with one or more <em>merchant accounts<\/em>. For more information, refer to <a href=\"\/pt\/account\/account-structure\">Account structure<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Create a basic authentication password in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a>. For instructions, refer to <a href=\"\/pt\/development-resources\/api-credentials#basic-authentication\">API credentials<\/a>.\n<div class=\"notices green\">\n<p>Copy the password and store securely it in your system - you will need to <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/netsuite\/set-up-netsuite-customer-center#authentication-credentials\">enter this in your NetSuite Customer Center<\/a> later.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<li>Contact our <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/ca\/ca\/contactUs\/support.shtml?form=other\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Support Team<\/a> and ask them enable the <a href=\"\/pt\/development-resources\/api-credentials#api-permissions\">API PCI Payments role<\/a> for your API credential.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that your API credentials include the following roles:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Checkout webservice role<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Merchant PAL Webservice role<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Roles and Associated Accounts<\/strong>, enable the correct merchant accounts for this web service user.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Step 2: Set up capture delay<\/h2>\n<p>By default, Adyen accounts are set up so that payments are <a href=\"\/pt\/online-payments\/capture\">captured<\/a> immediately after authorisation. If you are using <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/netsuite\/#netsuite-glossary\">Cash Sales<\/a> in NetSuite, keep the default setting.<\/p>\n<p>If you are using <a href=\"\/pt\/plugins\/netsuite\/#netsuite-glossary\">Sales Orders in NetSuite<\/a>, you need to change the default capture delay:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a> with your merchant account.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Account settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Capture Delay<\/strong> drop-down menu, select <strong>manual<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"set-up-webhooks\">Step 3: Set up webhooks<\/h2>\n<p>To inform your NetSuite back end of important events such as payment status changes or chargebacks, Adyen uses <a href=\"\/pt\/development-resources\/webhooks\">webhooks<\/a>, sent as HTTP callbacks to the URL from the payment processing profile in NetSuite. Webhooks are called notifications in NetSuite.<\/p>\n<p>To set up webhooks:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>In your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a>, go to <strong>Developers<\/strong>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0 <strong>Webhooks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"notices green\">\n<p>We <a href=\"\/pt\/development-resources\/webhooks\/configure-and-manage\">recommend to configure webhooks for your company account<\/a>.
