To navigate to this page manually, go to <strong>More actions<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>On the <strong>Adyen Payment Configuration<\/strong> page, select the Adyen account you want to connect to your Shopify store:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To connect your test account, in the <strong>Test Account<\/strong> section, select <strong>Authorize with Adyen<\/strong>. We recommend to set up the plugin and test with your test account first, and switch to your live account when <a href=\"#go-live\">going live<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>To connect your live account, in the <strong>Live Account<\/strong> section, select <strong>Authorize with Adyen<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will be redirected to the Adyen Customer Area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the Customer Area, a <strong>Payment Service (Live Testing)<\/strong> window will appear, select the merchant account you want to connect to your Shopify store.\n<div class=\"notices yellow\">\n<p>You can only have one merchant account per region, if you select multiple merchant accounts, you will receive an error and have to re-authenticate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Grant access<\/strong>.<br \/>\nYou will be redirected to the Shopify admin interface.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"activate-the-app-in-your-shopify-store\">Activate the app in your Shopify store<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>On the <strong>Adyen Payment Configuration<\/strong> page, select <strong>Activate<\/strong> at the top of the page.<br \/>\nYou will be redirected to the <strong>Adyen Payments - Credit Cards<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>On the payment methods list, select the payment methods that you want to display to your shoppers at checkout.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you experience issues enabling Apple Pay and Google Pay, first complete the steps to activate the app, then enable these payment methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"notices yellow\">\n<p>You do not have to enable Apple Pay and Google Pay in your Adyen Customer Area. For all other payment methods, you must <a href=\"#set-up-payment-methods\">set them up in your Customer Area<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Test mode<\/strong>, select <strong>Enable test mode<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThis setting ensures that test transactions do not attempt to charge the payment method you are use for testing. When <a href=\"#go-live\">going live<\/a>, disable test mode by deselecting the checkbox.<\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of the page, select <strong>Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Step 4: Install and set up the alternative payments app<\/h2>\n<p>Before you begin to set up the <strong>Adyen - Alternative Payments<\/strong> app, make sure that you completed the <a href=\"#set-up-the-credit-cards-app\">setup for the credit cards app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Install the app with either of the options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From your Shopify admin interface:\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Payments<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Additional payment methods<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Add payment method<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Search for the <strong>Adyen - Alternative Payments<\/strong> app.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Install<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/li>\n<li>From the Shopify App Store:  <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.shopify.com\/adyen-lpm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">\n  <strong>Adyen - Alternative Payments<\/strong>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After you have installed the <strong>Adyen Payments - Credit Cards<\/strong> app, you are directed to the <strong>Adyen Payment Configuration<\/strong> page. To set up the app:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the <strong>Adyen Payment Configuration<\/strong> page, under <strong>Payment methods<\/strong>, select <strong>Sync payment methods<\/strong> to sync the payment methods you enabled in your Adyen Customer Area to your Shopify store.<\/li>\n<li>When the sync is completed, select <strong>View payment methods<\/strong> to verify that all your payment methods are shown.<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the <strong>Adyen Payment Configuration<\/strong> page, and select <strong>Activate<\/strong> at the top of the page.<br \/>\nYou will be redirected to the <strong>Adyen Payments - Credit Cards<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of the page, select <strong>Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"test-your-integration\">Test your integration<\/h2>\n<p>Use our <a href=\"#test-cards\">test cards<\/a> to test your integration. We recommend to make a copy of your store in case you have to revert, for example if something goes wrong during testing. You can duplicate your store manually or use a duplication app from the Shopify App Store.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend testing in both test and live environments. After you are done testing in test mode, <a href=\"#go-live\">switch to the live environment<\/a> and test live payments.<\/p>\n<h3>Happy flows<\/h3>\n<p>Test the following flows to ensure your integration can handle successful payment flows.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3D Secure 2 authentication flows\n<ul>\n<li>Successful payment with 3D Secure 2 authentication. Use our <a href=\"#3d-secure\">cards enrolled in 3D Secure 2<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Successful payment without 3D Secure 2 authentication.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li>Order without a shipping address\n<ul>\n<li>If you sell <a href=\"https:\/\/help.shopify.com\/en\/manual\/products\/digital-service-product\/selling-services-or-digital-products\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">digital products<\/a>, your integration should be able to process orders when a shopper does not provide a shipping address.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Non-happy flows<\/h3>\n<p>We recommend to test non-happy flows to make sure that your integration can handle different scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>To trigger non-happy flows, you need to use specific <strong>Name on card<\/strong> values at checkout. For <strong>Card number<\/strong>, <strong>Expiration date<\/strong>, and <strong>Security code<\/strong> fields, use the card details of our <a href=\"#test-cards\">test cards<\/a> with a valid billing address.<\/p>\n<p>Test the following scenarios with the cardholder name provided to ensure your integration can handle unsuccessful payment flows.<\/p>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th If your application for a live account is approved, you <a href=\"\/pt\/get-started-with-adyen#step-4-sign-the-contract-and-get-your-live-account\">get access to the live Customer Area<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To start accepting live payments using your live account, you must first configure your account. The settings from your test account are not copied to your live account. We recommend to set up the plugin and test with your test account first, and switch to your live account when going live.\nTo connect your live account, in the Live Account section, select Authorize with Adyen.\n\nYou will be redirected to the Adyen Customer Area.\n\nIn the Customer Area, a Payment Service (Live Testing) window will appear, select the merchant account you want to connect to your Shopify store.\n\nYou can only have one merchant account per region, if you select multiple merchant accounts, you will receive an error and have to re-authenticate.\n\nSelect Grant access.\nYou will be redirected to the Shopify admin interface.\n\nActivate the app in your Shopify store\n\nOn the Adyen Payment Configuration page, select Activate at the top of the page.\nYou will be redirected to the Adyen Payments - Credit Cards page.\n\nOn the payment methods list, select the payment methods that you want to display to your shoppers at checkout.\n\nIf you experience issues enabling Apple Pay and Google Pay, first complete the steps to activate the app, then enable these payment methods.\n\n\nYou do not have to enable Apple Pay and Google Pay in your Adyen Customer Area. For all other payment methods, you must set them up in your Customer Area.\n\n\nUnder Test mode, select Enable test mode.\nThis setting ensures that test transactions do not attempt to charge the payment method you are use for testing. When going live, disable test mode by deselecting the checkbox.\nAt the bottom of the page, select Activate.\n\nStep 4: Install and set up the alternative payments app\nBefore you begin to set up the Adyen - Alternative Payments app, make sure that you completed the setup for the credit cards app.\nInstall the app with either of the options:\n\nFrom your Shopify admin interface:\n\nGo to Settings &gt; Payments &gt; Additional payment methods &gt; Add payment method.\nSearch for the Adyen - Alternative Payments app.\nSelect Install.\n\nFrom the Shopify App Store:  \n  Adyen - Alternative Payments\n\n\nAfter you have installed the Adyen Payments - Credit Cards app, you are directed to the Adyen Payment Configuration page.
