After you have uploaded your Android apps and certificates to Adyen, you can schedule when to install apps and certificates on your Adyen-provided Android payment terminals. You can also remove apps and certificates that are already installed on the terminals.<\/p>\n

  • Merchant POS Terminal Management Admin role<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Hardware<\/strong><\/td>\nAndroid payment terminals.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Setup steps<\/strong><\/td>\nBefore you begin, make sure the apps and certificates have been uploaded to your Customer Area<\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Install or uninstall apps<\/h2>\n

To add or remove an app on your payment terminals, in your Customer Area, select what action you want to take on what terminals. The terminals then carry out the action at an automatic maintenance call<\/a> they make to our system. For the action to succeed, the terminal must be connected to your network and turned on.<\/p>\n

To schedule the action:<\/p>\n

  1. In your Customer Area<\/a> go to In-person payments<\/strong> > Android<\/strong> and select the Apps<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  2. Verify that the app has reached the Ready<\/strong> status.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the app.<\/li>\n
  4. Select what you want to do:\n
