The remote session creates a duplicate of the terminal's screen in the Customer Area and lets you interact with the menus and the Android apps on the terminal. All other terminal models must be on software version 1.105.2 or later.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Limitations<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\">You need a person operating the terminal to start a remote session on the terminal.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Setup steps<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\">Before you begin: <br\/> <ul><li markdown=\"1\">Make sure you have <a href=\"\/pt\/point-of-sale\/diagnostics\/check-cloud-connection\/\">Websockets<\/a> enabled.<\/li><\/ul><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2>Allowlisting<\/h2>\n<p>Depending on your network or security requirements, you may need to add the URL <code>http:\/\/ec2-3-74-103-52.eu-central-1.compute.amazonaws.com\/<\/code> to the allowlist of your firewall.<\/p>\n<p>We <a href=\"\/pt\/development-resources\/security\/integration-security\/allowlisting\">recommend using DNS resolution<\/a> and domain-based allowlisting. However, for your information, these are the IP addresses and ports used for remote access:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3.74.103.52:3478 TCP\/UDP<\/li>\n<li>3.74.103.52:80 TCP<\/li>\n<li>3.74.103.52:443 TCP<\/li>\n<li>3.74.103.52:443 49152 - 65535 UDP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Start a remote session<\/h2>\n<p>To start a remote session:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/ca-test.adyen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" class=\"external-link no-image\">Customer Area<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>In-person payments<\/strong>, go to <strong>Terminals<\/strong> and select the terminal.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>More options<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Start remote session<\/strong>.<br \/>\nA one-time passcode shows in your Customer Area.<\/li>\n<li>Instruct the terminal operator to select <strong>Start session<\/strong> on their payment terminal and enter the one-time passcode.<br \/>\nA duplicate of the terminal screen shows in your Customer Area. You can interact with the terminal menus remotely.<\/li>\n<li>When you are done, select <strong>End session<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The session can be ended both from the Customer Area and from the terminal.
