Board the terminal\u00a0only after successfully connecting the device to the internet, and performing a device security inspection. For more information, see the\u00a0quick start guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Boarding with the Adyen Customer Area<\/h3>\n

    Log in to the Adyen Customer Area with your credentials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Switch to the merchant account to board the terminal with.
    \n2.1. Click\u00a0Customize this page.<\/strong>
    \nA widget dock appears.
    \n2.2. Drag the\u00a0Point-of-Sale<\/strong> widget from the widget dock to columns on the page.
    \n2.3. Click\u00a0Done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    On the\u00a0Point-of-Sale<\/strong>\u00a0widget, click\u00a0Board terminal<\/strong>.
    \n3.1. Under\u00a0Register Terminal,<\/strong> specify whether your terminal\u00a0is integrated with a POS system.
    \n3.2. Under\u00a0Receipt<\/strong>, review the printer status and custom receipt lines.
    \n3.3. Under Terminal(s),<\/strong>\u00a0enter the terminal type, serial number (found on the back of the terminal), and the merchant account\u00a0to board the terminal with.
    \n3.4. Click\u00a0Add more<\/strong>\u00a0to board more terminals.
    \n3.5. Click\u00a0Register.<\/strong>
    \n3.6. Click \"Show one time password<\/strong>\".<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    On the terminal screen, tap \"Board the terminal<\/strong>\".
    \n4.1. Enter your one-time password.
    \nThe terminal may reboot more than once.
    \n4.2. After rebooting, the terminal will receive the merchant configuration, and you can begin processing payments<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Board the terminal with the Adyen POS App<\/h3>\n

    Prepare to board<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. Open the Admin menu<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Press\u00a01.\u00a0Network<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Press\u00a01. Connection Status<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Make a note of the terminal's IP address.<\/li>\n
    5. Download and install the Adyen POS App from\u00a0the Apple App Store<\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0Google Play Store.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Board with an Android device<\/h4>\n
        \n
      1. Open the Adyen POS App.<\/li>\n
      2. Enter the details of your API credentials. To learn how to retrieve these, see Basic authentication<\/a>.<\/li>\n
      3. Tap \u2630<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      4. Tap Payment device<\/strong>.
        \nThe app will prompt to select between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection.<\/li>\n
      5. Enter the IP address of your terminal and tap Add Device<\/strong>.
        \nThe Adyen POS App identifies the terminal, synchronizes with the plataforma de pagamentos da Adyen, and verifies the terminal configuration.<\/li>\n
      6. The terminal begins boarding and restarts.
        \nAfter rebooting, the terminal will begin to update to the latest merchant configuration. Once the latest configuration has been applied, you can begin processing payments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Board with an iOS device<\/h4>\n
          \n
        1. Open the Adyen POS App on the mobile device.<\/li>\n
        2. Tap the\u00a0\"\"<\/strong> \u00a0icon.<\/li>\n
        3. Tap the '+<\/strong>' at the top of the\u00a0Payment device<\/strong>\u00a0popup menu.<\/li>\n
        4. Enter the device hostname or IP.
          \nThe device will now be listed in the\u00a0Payment device<\/strong>\u00a0menu with the status \"Not Boarded\".<\/li>\n
        5. Tap the name of the device.
          \nThe device shows a message saying the device is not configured, with options to\u00a0Cancel<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Board device<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        6. Tap\u00a0Board Device<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        7. The terminal begins boarding and restarts.
          \nAfter rebooting, the terminal will begin to update to the latest merchant configuration. Once the latest configuration has been applied, you can begin processing payments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
