Supply dispute defense documents

This API call allows you to submit all relevant defense material for the dispute.

The supplied defense documents are not sent automatically to the issuer. This will only be done with the final defend dispute API call.

Limitations

Uploaded documents come with certain restrictions depending on the scheme:

  • By default, acceptable formats for documents are JPG (10MB), TIFF (10MB), or PDF (2MB).
  • For MasterCard, the maximum number of pages for an RFI is 4.
  • For MasterCard, the maximum number of pages for a Chargeback document is 19.
  • For Diners and Discover, the maximum filesize is 3MB.

There are no explicitly defined limitations, unless specifically mentioned.
