# Payment links through the iOS app

Use the iOS app to create and manage payment links.

[Download the Pay by Link iOS app](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/adyen-pay-by-link/id1522442740) and use it to create and manage payment links on your iOS mobile device.

Creating payment links through the iOS app requires no development work and allows you to accept [most payment methods](/unified-commerce/pay-by-link/supported-payment-methods) except for [buy now, pay later](/unified-commerce/pay-by-link/supported-payment-methods) payment methods. You can view the status of payment links in the app and get payment webhook events sent to your email.

In the app, you can do the following:

* [Select the merchant account or store](##select-the-merchant-account-or-store).
* [Manage payment links](#manage-payment-links).
* [Create a payment link](#create-a-payment-link).

## Requirements

After you have created your test [Customer Area](https://ca-test.adyen.com/) account:

* [Add your terms and conditions](/unified-commerce/pay-by-link#add-your-terms-and-conditions) to the Pay by Link payment page.
* Check that you have the required permissions for creating payment links. Your user must have the following [user role](/account/user-roles):
  * Pay by Link Interface
* [Add payment methods](/unified-commerce/pay-by-link/create-payment-links/customer-area#add-payment-methods) to your account.
* Configure Pay by Link [creation settings](/unified-commerce/pay-by-link/settings#creation-settings).

## Log in to the app

When you log in to the app for the first time:

1. Select either the test or live environment.
2. Enter your [Customer Area](https://ca-test.adyen.com/) credentials.
3. Select the [merchant accounts](/account/account-structure#merchant-accounts) to manage and create payment links for. You can [change the merchant account](#change-the-merchant-account-or-store) later.

After the first time logging in, the credentials are encrypted and stored on your device. To log in again, you can use Face ID or the device passcode.

## Create a payment link

On the **New payment link** screen, fill in the form to create a payment link.

The fields and options on the form depend on the Pay by Link [creation settings](/unified-commerce/pay-by-link/settings#creation-settings) configured in your Customer Area.

## Manage payment links

The **Overview** screen shows the list of payment links that were created using the app. Select filters to show links based on their statuses.

When you select a payment link, you can do the following:

* Share the payment link. For example, send it by email or a messaging app.
* Show the QR code for the payment link.
* Expire the payment link.

## Change the merchant account or store

Go to the **Settings** screen to do the following:

* Select the [merchant account](/account/account-structure#merchant-accounts) to manage and create payment links for.
* Select the store.

## Change user credentials

If you want to log in to the app with different [Customer Area](https://ca-test.adyen.com/) credentials:

1. Log out from the app.
2. Log in with the new Customer Area credentials.
