# Click and collect

Click-and-collect use cases.

Click and collect is a retail service where customers order or buy products online ("click") and pick them up in person ("collect") at a physical store. It combines the convenience of ecommerce with in-store shopping, often avoiding shipping costs and allowing for same-day pickup.

We will discuss several variations of click and collect:

* Reserve online and try the items in a store before buying.
* Buy online, pick up the order in a store, and optionally drop some items from the order and get a refund, and/or purchase additional items that are available in the store.
* Buy online and let an assistant pick up the order.
