Adyen absorbs all fees, so 100% of the donated amount goes to charity!
The final two months of the year represent the peak season for charitable giving. During that time shoppers are highly motivated to support meaningful causes. In combination with the year-end tax deduction deadline in some regions, shoppers appreciate opportunities to donate to a good cause, which you can easily facilitate with Adyen Giving. As an added benefit, Adyen Giving is a strong driver for brand loyalty by connecting customers with causes they value.
About Adyen Giving
With Adyen Giving, you can give your shoppers the option to donate to a nonprofit organization after they make a purchase in your physical store or online store. You can present shoppers with fixed donation amounts or let them donate by rounding up the transaction amount of their purchase.
Donations can be made using many popular payment methods, and are settled directly to the nonprofit's bank account. Adyen covers all fees and the donation amount is transferred to the nonprofit in full.
With the Campaigns user interface in your Customer Area, you can easily set up and manage Adyen Giving donation campaigns and choose the nonprofit that you want to collect donations for. Giving is available for in-person payments, online payments, and platforms.
Donations with in-person payments
You can create, start, edit, and end donation campaigns using the Campaigns user interface in your Customer Area. No integration effort is needed: After you set up your campaign, the payment terminal automatically shows a screen asking for a donation. But you also have the option to trigger the donation screen through your Terminal API payment request.
