Manage your bank account details

Your payout account is where Adyen sends the funds from processed transactions.

Adyen pays out at the merchant account level, so you need to configure your payout account details for each merchant account. If you are accepting payments in multiple currencies, you may link multiple bank accounts to a single merchant account.

Add your payout account

To add your payout account details you must have this user role:

• Merchant manage bank accounts

Copy payout account details

If you have several merchant accounts under the same legal entity, you can copy approved payout details from one merchant account to another. Copying payout account details saves you from manually introducing the same details and makes sure the information is consistent between merchant accounts.

To copy payout account details you must have this user role:

• Merchant manage bank accounts

To copy payout account details to a merchant account:

1. Log in to your Customer Area.
2. Switch to the merchant account.
3. Go to Finance > Payout accounts.
4. Select Add payout account > Copy from. You can only copy details from approved payout accounts.
5. Select the merchant that you want to copy the payout details from, and follow the steps.
6. Select Submit to finish copying the payout details.
   The change happens automatically and you do not need to wait for approval.

Check payout account details

To check your payout account details you must have one of these user roles:

• Merchant financial
• Merchant admin

To check your payout account details:

1. Log in to your Customer Area.
2. Switch to the merchant account.
3. Go to Finance > Payout accounts.
   You get an overview of all payout accounts set up for the selected merchant account.

Edit your payout account

To edit your payout account details you must have this user role:

• Merchant manage bank accounts

You cannot edit details for accounts pending approval. To edit your payout account details:

1. Log in to your Customer Area.
2. Switch to the merchant account.
3. Go to Finance > Payout accounts.
4. In the list, find the account you want to edit and select the action button (...) > Edit details.
5. Make the changes and select Submit. The request is forwarded to our team for approval.

Our team reviews the changes to your payout account details within two to three business days and will email you the result.

Remove a payout account

To remove a payout account you must have this user role:

• Merchant manage bank accounts

To remove a payout account:

1. Log in to your Customer Area.
2. Switch to the merchant account.
3. Go to Finance > Payout accounts.
4. In the list, find the account you want to remove and select the action button (...) > Close this account.
5. Select Yes, close to remove the payout account.

Removing a payout account doesn't need approval from Adyen.
