With Adyen Giving, you can give shoppers the option to donate to a nonprofit. You can monitor, analyze, share insights, and optimize the impact of donations using the Giving overview dashboard, the Giving downloadable report, and the Giving insights report.
The Giving reports and dashboard are updated daily at the end of the day in the Central European Time (CET) timezone. Donations will be visible in the system after the daily update.
Prerequisites
To view the Giving reports and dashboard, you have to enable Giving in your Customer Area.
After you enable Giving, you can assign the View Giving overview user role.
The following table shows which user roles are required for which actions:

Giving overview dashboard
To open the dashboard:
- Log in to your Customer Area.
- Select Reports > Giving overview.
- The dashboard overview page will open.
You can filter the data shown in the dashboard. For example, you can filter on:
- Date range
- Currency
- Issuer country
- Shopper interaction
You see an overview of totals based on the filters you applied, followed by a visualization of the donation amount, the donation count and the average donation value and totals.
The dashboard shows performance information so that you can monitor donations.
You can use the dashboard to get an understanding of the donation trends, and to share the insights with your organization.
Giving downloadable report
The Giving downloadable report gives you a granular perspective on donations. This report can be downloaded in either Comma-Separated Values (.CSV
) or Excel (.XLS
or .XLSX
) format.
The report lets you analyze specific shopper demographics, and answer questions such as how many shoppers from a specific country donated to a particular nonprofit by point-of-sale terminal, store, or online checkout.
Generating and downloading: Get this report manually or automatically.
Time zone: CET time zone.
Date range: Select the date range of data included when you generate the report in your Customer Area.
Availability: Available for company accounts and merchant accounts.

Under the header line, each line in the report is a separate entry.
Columns
Each column shows specific information about the entries.
Standard columns

6 | Store Code | Alphanumeric | The identifier assigned to the store in your point-of-sale account, if available. |
7 | Store | Unicode Text (80-character) | The name of the store where the transaction took place, if available. |
8 | Terminal | Unicode Text (80-character) | The point-of-sale terminal identifier, if available. |
9 | Count | Integer | The total count of transactions for the given entry. |
10 | Value | Numeric | The total value of transactions for the given entry. |
11 | ADV | Numeric | The average value of the transactions for the given entry. |
Giving insights report
The Giving insights report shows donations grouped by merchant account or store within a specified date range. This report can be downloaded in either Comma-Separated Values (.CSV
) or Excel (.XLS
or .XLSX
) format.
The report lets you answer questions such as how frequently shoppers donated an amount of EUR 3 at a specific store, or at an online checkout.
Generating and downloading: Get this report manually or automatically.
Time zone: CET time zone.
Date range: Select the date range of data included when you generate the report in your Customer Area.
Availability: Available for company accounts and merchant accounts.
