Requirements

Import resources for v6

If you are using Web Components v6, import the Component that you need for PayNow:

import { AdyenCheckout, PayNow } from '@adyen/adyen-web'

API reference

You do not need to send additional fields for PayNow. To see optional fields that you can send for all payment methods, choose the endpoint you integrated:

Component configuration

Step 1: Create a DOM element

Create a DOM element on your checkout page, placing it where you want the payment method form to be rendered:

 <div id="paynow-container"></div>

Step 2: Create an instance of the Component

v6.0.0 or later

Create an instance of the Component, passing:

  • Your instance of AdyenCheckout.
const paynow = new PayNow(checkout).mount('#paynow-container');

Use the create method of your AdyenCheckout instance, in this case checkout, to create the Component:

const paynowComponent = checkout.create('paynow').mount('#paynow-container');

Test and go live

Before you can accept live payments, you must contact our Support Team to add PayNow in your live Customer Area.

You can penny test PayNow payments in your live Customer Area, using small amounts and a real banking app to scan a test QR.

You can check the status of PayNow payments in your live Customer Area > Transactions > Payments.

We recommend not to test PayNow payments in your test Customer Area. You cannot reverse bank transfers in the test environment, and the funds will be deducted from the bank account.
