Learn more about Bank Transfer via KCP on adyen.com.
Because online bank transfer is considered a "cash" payment, due to the immediate nature of fund transfer, Korea regulations require all Korea-registered e-commerce merchants accepting bank transfer to have an escrow or electronic surety assurance in place. This is done for shopper protection. The shopper’s money will be held with the bank until it has been confirmed that the product was delivered.
This service cannot be provided by either Adyen or KCP. It has to be obtained from a local Korean bank.
