Check out Cellulant's website to learn more about this payment service provider.
The African payment landscape covers over 150 different mobile payment solutions. Due to low penetration of banking facilities, most payments are carried out via mobile network operators (MNOs) that allow shoppers to make payments, transfer money, and microfinance their purchases. Adyen partners with Cellulant — a payment service provider (PSP) allowing you to accept mobile payments from e-wallets and online banking in several African countries.
Using Tingg, Cellulant's digital payments platform, the shopper selects their MNO from a list on the payment page. Next, they authenticate themselves using their mobile number. After following the instructions and confirming the payment, the shopper is redirected back to your website or app.
