# External settlement detail report

Use this report to review payments settled by an external acquirer.

The External settlement detail report shows details of transactions for which Adyen is not the acquirer. For example, if you have an agreement with American Express or PayPal where they send funds to Adyen after acquiring funds from a transaction, then the details of those transactions are in this report.

Time zone: The time zone setting of your account.
Date range: Select the date range of data included when you generate the report in your Customer Area.
Availability: Available for company accounts and merchant accounts.

## Structure

### Entries

Under the header line, each line in the report is a separate entry. A transaction shown in this report does not confirm that the external acquirer has paid you the funds.

### Columns

Each column shows specific information about the entries. By default, the report includes standard columns. You can optionally add additional columns.
