Get started

To get started with your host-to-host API integration, follow these steps:

1. Get an Adyen account. You receive your Adyen test credentials and API credentials including an API key that you need to authenticate your API requests.
2. Ask your Adyen contact to assign the POS HostToHost Integration role to your API credentials.
3. Assign additional API permissions to your API credentials.
4. Accept webhooks from our platform. The asynchronous server-to-server webhooks inform you of payment status updates.
5. Optional. Configure a capture method. By default, we capture payments automatically as soon as a payment succeeds.
6. Optional. Contact our Support Team to configure overcapture for your account.
