The terminal fleet property to enable/disable persistent socket connection is now used for communication between the library and the payment terminal.

TLS version
The PCI Security Standards Council has specified TLS 1.2 to be the new baseline standard for encrypted communications. Backend communication with the Android library now is supported with TLS 1.2 only. We encourage scheduling the upgrade of your Android devices to Android OS version 5.0 or later and library version 1.19 or higher.
