We're pleased to announce a new family of libraries and support features to integrate with our payment terminals.The libraries, COM for Windows, Java Native Interface and C, are built on the same core application. This allows merchants operating on Windows, Linux, or OS-X based POS systems to integrate with Adyen's payment terminals. The updated libraries also work with all Adyen's mobile and countertop PIN entry devices.
Improved functionality
- Improvement in the communicated error messages for
RegisterPEDandRegisterApp. More accurate description in the error states were added, and the error message was cleared from results from previous states.
Fixed issues
The following issues were fixed in this release:
- Additional data is not populated properly, so the Tax Free indicator is not sent to the terminal.
- Issue boarding terminals with old firmware versions.
- Library Exception callback is not returned properly on CancelTender call.
- The library returns unclear messages when registering a PED with an incorrect IP address.
- The library returns unclear result codes when it loses network connection.
