We're pleased to announce a new family of libraries and support features to integrate with our payment terminals. The libraries, COM for Windows, Java Native Interface and C, are built on the same core application. This allows merchants operating on Windows, Linux, or OSX based POS systems to integrate with Adyen's payment terminals. The updated libraries also work with all Adyen's mobile and countertop PIN entry devices.
New functionality
Full transaction data for transaction inquiry on TX store
We have extended the response to TX store inquiries so that it contains the full transaction data. The library provides exactly the same data as the POS receives in the final callback. For an overview of TX Store and how to use it, see the following topics:
- Get transaction data from TxStoreReport - JNI
- Get transaction data from tx_store_report - C
- Get transaction data from TxStoreReport - COM
New thread for logs
We have introduced a new, separate, thread for logs. By splitting the log and event threads we have sped up transaction time.
Synchronous library requests
All library requests are now handled synchronously to prevent potential race conditions.
Fixed issues
- If registration of a PED fails (for example, because the PED was not online), the
registerPedCallbackreturns a nullPedInfoobject in JNI V1_13 and V1_14.
