Dual language support
The terminal can now support two display languages. When the shopper presents their card, they can switch between languages using a button on the terminal display. This is a useful feature for example in bilingual countries. To configure dual language support for your terminal:
- In your Customer Area navigate to In-person payments > Terminals and select your terminal.
- Under Settings, use the Language and Secondary Language fields to set the two display languages.
Improved functionality
USB gadget mode
You can now use the Customer Area to enable your terminal to use Ethernet over a USB connection:
- In your Customer Area navigate to In-person payments > Terminals and select your terminal.
- Select the Network tab and under USB, at USB mode, select the Ethernet-over-USB mode you want to use, such as Ethernet RNDIS.
Synchronization when downloading configuration
When you use the Admin menu to download the latest configuration, we now also apply any open terminal actions that would otherwise wait until the next synchronization with the Adyen platform.
Totals receipt
We improved the layout of the Totals receipt.
Fixes
In this release we fixed the following issue:
- On the e285 terminal, the Transactions menu didn't work as expected.
