TWINT is a popular mobile payment method in Switzerland. Shoppers can connect their bank account or cards with the TWINT app, and pay with TWINT when shopping online or in-store using our payment terminals.
When shopping online:
- On a mobile device, the shopper is redirected to the TWINT webpage where they can choose to open the TWINT app, or copy the short code and then enter it in the TWINT app.
- On a desktop or a laptop, the shopper is redirected to the TWINT webpage where they can choose to either scan the QR code with the TWINT app on their phone, or copy the short code and then enter it in the TWINT app.
When shopping in-store, the shopper opens their TWINT app and scans the QR code on the terminal display.
The amount is transferred to your account in real-time after you capture the payment.
