GoPay is a popular e-wallet in Indonesia. Shoppers sign up and register for GoPay with their mobile number, and get assigned a PIN. Once they are registered, shoppers can transfer funds from their bank accounts or deposit cash at GoPay offline stores to add funds to their GoPay wallet.
How to pay with GoPay
One-time payment
After shoppers select GoPay on your website:
- Shoppers are redirected to the GoPay website and log in with their mobile phone number.
- Shoppers go to a URL that they receive via SMS to make the payment.
- When prompted, shoppers confirm the payment.
- Shoppers are redirected back to your website.
Recurring payments
After shoppers select GoPay on your website or mobile app:
- Shoppers are redirected to the GoPay website and log in with their mobile phone number.
- Shoppers enter their one-time password that they receive via SMS.
- Shoppers authenticate the payment with their assigned PIN.
- When prompted, shoppers confirm the payment.
- Shoppers are redirected back to your website or mobile app.
