Touch v4.x.x integration'n Go Android Component

Add Touch'n Go to an existing Components integration.

If you have an existing Android Components integration, you can use our Redirect Component to redirect the shopper to complete the payment. As with other redirect payment methods, you need to handle the redirect after the shopper returns to your app.

Requirements

Requirement Description
Integration type Make sure that you have built an Advanced flow Android Components integration.
Setup steps Before you begin, contact our Support Team to add Touch'n Go in your Customer Area.

Show Touch'n Go in your payment form

Include Touch'n Go in the list of available payment methods. You do not need to collect any information from the shopper in your payment form.

  1. Specify in your /paymentMethods request:

The response contains paymentMethod.type: touchngo.

We provide logos for Touch'n Go which you can use on your payment form. For more information, refer to Downloading logos.

Make a payment

From your server, make a /payments request, specifying:

  • paymentMethod.type: touchngo.
  • returnURL: URL to where the shopper should be redirected back to after they complete the payment. This URL can have a maximum of 1024 characters. Get this URL from the Component in the RedirectComponent.getReturnUrl(context).

In the /payments response, check the action object for the information that you must use to redirect the shopper.

Handle the redirect

  1. Use the Redirect Component to redirect the shopper to the Touch'n Go app.
  2. After the shopper returns to your app, make a POST /payments/details request from your server, providing:
    • details: The actionComponentData.details object from the Redirect Component.

You receive a response containing:

  • resultCode: Use this to present the payment result to your shopper.
  • pspReference: Our unique identifier for the transaction.

Test and go live

You can test your Touch'n Go integration in two ways: with the Adyen Payment Simulator, or directly with Touch'n Go.

Test with Adyen

Use the Adyen Payment Simulator to verify that your Touch'n Go integration works correctly with Adyen. You can test during development, before you go live, and after launch. The simulator does not recreate the shopper's journey through the Touch'n Go app or website.

This testing option is available by default when you add Touch'n Go in your test Customer Area. The payment method type is touchngo.

To test a redirect payment:

  1. Start a payment as usual in your integration. The shopper is redirected to an Adyen-hosted simulator page.
  2. Select the payment outcome that you want to test.
  3. Wait for the simulator to return the shopper to your website, then complete the payment as usual. For an Advanced flow, make a /payments/details request.
  4. Confirm that your integration handles the outcome that you selected, and that the payment appears in your Customer Area > Payments > Payment list.

Test directly with Touch'n Go

Check the status of direct Touch'n Go test payments in your Customer Area > Payments > Payment list.

To accept live Touch'n Go payments, you must contact our Support Team to add Touch'n Go in your live Customer Area.
